Q1. What types of franchises
are available ?
A1. Individual site
franchises are available at this time; multiple sites can also be purchased.
Q2. What is the present
franchise fee ?
A2. The initial franchise
fee is $25,000 for a single unit or $20,000 per unit for two units
Q3. What is the continuing
royalty fee and how often is it paid ?
A3. The present royalty
fee is $10,000 per year. This is paid to the franchisor once annually. Unlike other programs, we do not collect
a percentage of sales on a weekly basis.
Q4. What is the term
of the franchise agreement ? Can it be renewed ?
A4. The term of the
franchise agreement is seven (7) years. It can then be renewed every five (5) years at the royalty terms of the
then current franchise agreement.
Q5. Can I sell my
franchise ?
A5. A franchisee's business
can be sold, with the franchisor's approval, to a qualified buyer. The franchisor retains right of first refusal
to purchase at the selling price.
Q6. What is the Advertising
Fee ?
A6. Currently, we
require franchisees to spend a minimum of 1% of gross sales locally to advertise their Just4Pooches® store. In addition, franchisees are required
to contribute $1,500 in the first year for co-op advertising with other franchisees in their DMA. This co-op contribution
is 1% of gross sales in the second and subsequent years.
Q7. How do I learn
the business ? Is there a training school ? What does it cost ?
A7. Just4Pooches® provides a complete training program for
you and any two of your staff. This training is included in your franchise fee.
Q8. Is my protected
Territory ?
A8. Yes, a five (5)
mile radius around your site is protected. There will be no other Just4Pooches® stores in this protected area.
Q9. Who finds the
site ?
A9. We will give you
site selection guidelines and assist you in site selection, but you will find your own site and submit it to us
for acceptance.
Q10. How long does
it take to open a Just4Pooches®
franchise operation?
A10. The time varies
it take to open a store varies depending on the circumstances, but generally takes from three to six months from
the signing of the franchise agreement.
Q11. Is Financing
available ?
A11. Financing is
available from various financial institutions. J4P Development, LLC does not provide financing to its franchisees.
Q12. How much can
I expect to earn ?
A12. It is impossible
for us to estimate your earnings. Earnings will vary based on location, amount of advertising, your business acumen
and a variety of other factors.
Q13. Can I sell my
products on-line ?
A13. Absolutely! We
will provide a domain name for your store and an affiliate store ID. We will also provide your with all the web
site templates and graphics files to make designing your site a breeze. We can also perform the complete setup
and hosting of your web site if you choose - additional fees apply.
Q14. Why should I
open a Just4Pooches® store
instead of just opening one on my own ?
A14. Good question.
By teaming with J4P Development and opening a Just4Pooches® store, you will gain access to all the knowledge, training, support as well as plans that
you will otherwise have to develop on your own. One simple example is this…. We've already invested money with
a professional designer on the logo, signage designs and professionally developed advertisements for print media.
By becoming a Just4Pooches®
franchise, you get immediate access to this saving you money. The biggest reason, however, is because by opening
a Just4Pooches® you gain
access to and support from a staff of dedicated professionals who want you to succeed as much as you do.
Q15. Can I visit Corporate
Headquarters ?
A15. We encourage
you to visit with us after you have received and reviewed the complete franchise documents.
Q16. Why are you only
offering franchise locations in the eastern part of the United States.
A16. Since we are
a new franchise operation, we decided to only offer franchise locations in some of the states that are east of
the Mississippi River. This will allow us to control our growth and service our new franchise locations in the
most effective manner.

includes the UFOC and Franchise Agreement.
STEP 5: You should review the UFOC and Franchise Agreement with your advisors and determine whether Just4Pooches
is a good fit for you.
